The Wolf!

What is a wolf?

In the Webster's 1828 dictionary this is what is stated; a beast of prey that kills sheep, a wolf is crafty, greedy and ravenous.

Isn't it interesting that GOD told us to beware of wolves that portray themselves as sheep? They are crafty, greedy, ravenous, and they kill sheep!

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." Matthew 7:15

"Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves." Luke 10:3

"I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock." Acts 20:29

The flock is at risk. We must know the truth so well that the craftiness of the wolf will not lead us astray as the wolves spare no sheep and come to attack every lamb.

We are able to look and see many that are claiming to be sheep in the name of religion today. They dress like sheep, and try to act like sheep, but inwardly they are not a sheep at all.

The difference is no true sheep will ever go against the word of God, speak against the TRUTH of God, as the HOLY SPIRIT will not allow the true sheep to be misled.

Today there are entire religions that will claim to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT, or by God, but they are not led by the Master Sheep at all but instead by a WOLF in sheep's clothing. Just because someone says it is from God does not mean it is from God. We must always compare it with HIS TRUTH, HIS WORD!

You will know them by their fruit. Their fruit is what is coming out of their mouth, and is in their actions, continually. Are you able to compare them with HIS WORD and say it is TRUTH?

It isn't just what is shown in public but behind closed doors too. See, God sees into every heart of man. God doesn't just look at how you wear your hair, dress, or act in public but HE is concerned about the closed door attitudes and actions. You can't hide from GOD!

When we hear of the horrible treatment of children, women, and men today and know they claim to know the true GOD, it should make us sick. The true GOD never tells HIS children to do these things that are happening nor does He approve of these actions. This is abuse from wolves.

"It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin." Luke 17:2 This is what GOD himself has to say about the abuse that is happening today in the name of "religion" or "God."

Most of us would love to seek vengeance but this is where we must pray and seek HIS WILL. We can rescue them but vengeance isn't ours to repay.

"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." Romans 12:19

We should grieve and hurt for those who are being mislead and we still must pray for them. Praying for them, and loving them, is far different than becoming friends with them, or worse, joining them and being yoked with them. Jesus never yoked himself with the sinner, but saved the sinner, and told them to go and sin no more. Loving is far different from yoking.
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" 2 Cor. 6:14

May we know the TRUTH and be set FREE from the bondage of the wolves that seek to destroy and kill.

~SHORN SHEEP~

Freshly shorn sheep need protection from the elements!
This is because it takes up to six weeks for the fleece to regrow sufficiently to provide effective insulation. Sheared sheep also require more food to maintain their body temperature during the winter.

I find this interesting don't you? Think of our life. When we are stripped of something or have just endured some trial, don't you think we, too, need a time of rest to build back up an insulation to provide us with protection?

This insulation for us comes in the form of studying his word, crying out to GOD, praying, and encouragement from others who may have walked the path before us and are now a source of strength.
